Incorporating all that is great about modern design, the Library lies at the heart of Bohunt Sixth Form Centre. With a range of journals to rival those of any top academic institution, and a quality, cutting–edge collection of books, it offers a serene space for thoughtful, purposeful study.
Open daily from 8.30 to 4.30 during term time, the Library is staffed full–time by qualified professionals offering personalised academic support. It provides an invaluable source of information: from university taster courses to curriculum–related exhibitions; from creative and academic writing competitions to latest news and reviews.
Students are encouraged to make full use of these opportunities and resources, as well as those offered by an excellent online collection that includes access to academic journal collections such as Wiley Online Library, Science Direct and Newspapers for Schools.
Adjacent to the main library space are seminar rooms equipped with the latest audio visual equipment, enabling students to work in small groups and take advantage of the range of information sources today such as podcasts from Oxford and Cambridge universities.
