Hundreds attend Sixth Form Open Evening

There was a huge turnout for Bohunt Sixth Form’s Open Evening on Tuesday 3 October with over 700 families flocking to the event.

Attending students and their families enjoyed addresses from Clare Hodgson, Head of Sixth Form and Neil Strowger, Headteacher of Bohunt School. The atmosphere was ‘buzzing’ – incredibly positive, with prospective students and their families meeting staff and students and immersing themselves in a range of exciting activities and experiences, guided and encouraged by current students.

The event provided the chance for parents to learn more about the Sixth Form, which offers incredible opportunities for students both inside and outside the classroom plus the best A Level results in the area.

Visitors were full of praise, one parent said, “what a great feel this place has, it seems so kind and supportive.” Another parent commented on how “approachable and articulate the current students are, and it is great to see as a parent how much they like being in this place.”
