Bohunt Sixth Form Students Celebrate A Level Results
Students at Bohunt Sixth Form in Liphook are celebrating today after receiving their A Level results, enabling them to secure places at their chosen universities including Oxbridge; on coveted apprenticeships and in selected jobs.
Despite it being another unusual academic year due to the pandemic, students at Bohunt Sixth Form, which is part of the high-achieving Bohunt Education Trust (BET), have attained some truly excellent results, reflecting the hard work and commitment shown throughout their studies.
Some of the individual standout achievements include:
- Sam Tetlow (A*A*A*A*) in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Geography who will study Aerospace Engineering at University of Bath
- Vicky Kendall Weiss (A*A*A*A*) in English Literature, Classical Civilisation, Drama and Philosophy and will study Classical Civilisation at Durham University
- Sarah Jones (A*A*A*A*) in English Literature, Art, EPQ and Psychology, who is studying Psychology at University of Chichester
- Iris Hamilton (A*A*A*D1) in English Literature, Classical Civilisation, History and Mandarin, who is going to Corpus Christi College at the University of Oxford to study English Literature
- Sarah Arnold (A*A*A*A*) who will study Law at Lady Margaret Hall, University of Oxford
- Oscar Smith (A*A*A*) in Maths, Physics and Computer Science, who is hoping to undertake an Engineering degree at Dyson
- Hesper Aldwinkle (A*A*A*A) who will study Medicine at UCL
- Luke Perry (A*A*A*) who will study Computer Science at Imperial College London
- Other extremely high performers include: Mark McCusker, James Best, Katie Branchflower and Jasmin Sinclair.

This year, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Government decided that young people’s grades would be determined by teachers, based on work students produced throughout their course. These grades were then moderated and assessed by external exam boards which awarded the final grades.
